we closed the door because the design workshop happens before the code. always. every time we wrote code before the philosophy was right, we rewrote it. every time we composed the framework first — the engineering fell into place like it was inevitable.
so we stopped building. we opened a design session instead. no deploys. just language. we wrote down what the game is actually measuring. not what we thought it was measuring. what it actually is.
it's different from what we thought.
we'll open the door again when the version of the game that emerges from this workshop is worthy of the people waiting for it.
the engineering acts are punctuation. periods at the end of philosophical sentences. long stretches of design, then a precise build, then back to thinking. not continuous shipping. composition.
